Moving Soon
07.15.07 (11:09 pm)   [edit]
As some of you may know, I've been waiting for a job that I was hired for to actually open up in New Jersey. Well... I'm still waiting. I'm sick of waiting. I've been out of work for more than a month, now. Life is pretty difficult when you don't have income, as you might imagine.

That said, I've held some conversations with fellow future co-workers who currently live in Connecticut. Apparently, a few of the guys have started a computer consulting company to tie themselves over until the multimedia company we're waiting for opens. They're making some good $$$ in the process. They want me to head out that way and work for them as I wait for my permanent position to open. That actually opens a few good opportunities. First, of course, some income to tie us over. Sweet. Second, these people are also musicians, so we'll most likely work on getting some music together. That's exciting, as music is my first passion. More than computers, even.

My goal is to get some of my music contracted with some movies or networks. I hear there's some good $$$ in contracting songs.

Either way... wish me luck.

Something Is Wrong Here
07.12.07 (10:17 pm)   [edit]

I am so sick of this crap.  Plain and simple.  The anti-war group whines and complains that we're fighting for nothing in Iraq, because there are no terrorists there.  So, tell me then, how is it there were arrests made - IN IRAQ - of suspects related to the 7/7 terrorist attack.  Pretty impressive, seeing that there are no terrorists in Iraq, hmm?

Tell me also, why the news media didn't bother printing that the US/Iraq Forces coalition just attacked a terrorist bunker killing several terrorists and arresting 20 more.  20 is a whole lot more than zero terrorists, don't you think?  And I'll TELL you why the news media didn't bother reporting it.  Because it would completely blow their agenda.  The liberal media only reports what will promote their ultimate goal of making our current administration look like idiots.

Futher, explain why national media failed to report an attack that happened 7/4 in New Jersey.  A lunatic peace protestor left a suicide note in his home saying that he was going to kill a member of our armed services, then kill himself to protest the war.  He succeeded in his final mission.  However, the news only made it as far as the local level.  Why?  Because it would expose extreme peace protestors as the "bad guy" and that would be harmful to the media's ultimate mission.

Wake up, people!  Stop protesting the war, because it's the popular opinion to be against it.  Have the balls to think for yourselves.  Stop letting the media make your minds up for you.  There are terrorists being brought to justice in Iraq.  The war is not the lost cause the media tells you it is.  Before you go on protesting something you know nothing about, take the time to learn the facts.  They may surprise you.

My Music Is On The Radio!
07.06.07 (9:56 pm)   [edit]
There is an Internet radio show called Malice Radio that is playing my music. They just released part 1 of Show #6. My song "Pale Reflection" gets the show kicked off, after a parody of a David Lee Roth song.

You can download the radio show from their website. For the impatient, my song starts around the 5:28 marker.

Download it and give it a listen!

For Sale - Neighbors - Cheap!
07.04.07 (9:23 am)   [edit]
I have the world's worst neighbors on the planet. It started 3 years ago, when they moved in. They would call the police on us for anything they thought was even slightly left of "acceptable". That includes when we were building a little play house for our children. They called 9-1-1 because they thought we stacked our building supplies too close to their property. The police eyeballed the stack of lumber and decided that our neighbors were trouble makers. We were fine. Interestingly, when the police knocked on their door to talk to them about the false complaint, they refused to answer their door. Wonderful people.

Time moved on. Last year- about this time, in fact- the neighbor guy barged into our house, uninvited, without knocking on the door. He just walked right on in. The reason? Our dog barked and he wanted it quiet. Never mind the fact that it was noon. Middle of the day.

Over the course of the past week, the noise-complaining idiots have thrown TWO very loud parties. The one that was thrown last night went on until 2:00 in the morning before we decided to return the police call favor. The police had absolutely no problem shutting down their party, at all.

Thank you to their party (which they held outdoors during a complete downpour, by the way), my family got no more than 4 hours of sleep, last night.

I hope they're hungover, this morning. That would make my day.
